I wanted to take a moment to comment on the exceptional performance of Doug and the residential roofers the re-roofed my home recently. I employed Nickerson Roofing Company some years ago when I had a metal roofing installation and insulation system completed at my office. I was very pleased with the commercial roofing results then so my expectations were high this time around. I am pleased to say that Nickerson Roofing and his crew exceeded even those expectations. I don't know why I put this home improvement off for so long! The new asphalt shingle roofing replacement went so smooth, but the crew went way beyond that. The initial roofing inspection and consultation was very informative. Doug went over all my options and gave me some excellent advice, especially in regards to the sun tunnel skylight. The Roofing contractors stayed on schedule and kept us informed every step of the way. My garage, yard and driveway were spotless in the clean-up that was completed afterwards. When I contacted my next door neighbor to make sure that their yard had not suffered from any of the falling composite roof shingles and debris, they indicated that the roofers had stopped by their house to see if the clean-up was to their satisfaction. I am thoroughly impressed and wanted to be sure their thoughtfulness was recognized. After the hail damage repairs needed from a couple of years ago and all of the storm damage repairs our composite roof needed since then, I thought we finally needed a complete roofing replacement. We had tried patching the roof ourselves but we didn't really know what we were doing. Luckily we called Nickerson Roofing Co on a recommendation from a neighbor. They had done the commercial roofing job at their dental office and they were very pleased with every aspect of the service they received. So Nickerson came out and did a thorough roofing inspection and then were able to do the roofing repairs properly, not jerry-rigging it until the next rain storm like we were doing. They also installed new gutters and gutter guards to help with the waterproofing issue and prevent future roof leak repairs. We were so happy with the excellent quality and fair price (and so relieved that we didn't need a whole new roof) that we called them back out for our sun tunnel skylight installation. We highly recommend them as residential roofers and will call them again at any sound of trouble.
